Not to be subdued by such an unfortunate turn of events, Dr. Jack Kavanaugh focused on getting an MBA degree. He completed it from the University of California, Los Angeles, and started working in mergers and acquisitions. Later on, he co-founded the International Strategy Consulting Group in 1984.

They are actively associated with the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California. Apart from this, they are also actively involved in other charitable efforts, like The Virginia Robinson Gardens, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and The Art of Elysium.
